Storytime

At West Sangamon Public Library, our weekly Storytime is a happy social encounter for our community's children.
Every week a story is shared by our expert reader. Then a craft or activity, prepared and facilitated by our staff/volunteers, is completed by the children. Extra crafts are available in our lobby to complete at home. No registration is necessary. Drop in on Wednesdays. Babies, caregivers and grandparents welcome!
During the summer, we have special programs, like T-Ball fun, a STEM Program and story characters like The Mermaid Princess visit our Storytime to join in on the fun. We even go to the park for Storytime. These programs make the story-reading experience more imaginative and visual for our young guests.
